Postgame Pulse: Wisconsin basketball vs Oklahoma Sooners
Hear what Wisconsin basketball players John Blackwell and Austin Rapp had to say, along with Greg Gard and Oklahoma Sooners head coach Porter Moser about the 84-83 exhibition result

The first-ever Wisconsin basketball exhibition against a high-major opponent ended on a sour note for Wisconsin Badgers fans. Despite trailing the Oklahoma Sooners deep into the second half and for a 15:56 stretch of game time, UW took a 68-67 lead with 6:29 remaining.
That jubilation for Wisconsin fans inside Milwaukee’s Fiserv Forum did not last long. OU reclaimed the lead a mere 18 seconds later and never relented. UW twice fought back to force ties at 70 and 73, but the Badgers never quite got a firm grip on the matchup.
The preseason test showcased what Badgers head coach Greg Gard has to work with, warts and all, before the regular season gets underway on Monday, November 3rd, against the Campbell Fighting Camels inside the Kohl Center.
Hear directly from the players and coaches who took part in the game. Wisconsin basketball guard John Blackwell, forward Austin Rapp, and head coach Greg Gard addressed the media, along with Oklahoma basketball head coach Porter Moser, following Friday night’s festivities.
(Moser really had to crinkle that stat sheet directly above the microphone 😂)
