Madison, WI - Wisconsin basketball’s victory over the Montana State Bobcats is “a good win against a good team that’s experienced,” according to head coach Greg Gard. Gard’s not wrong. Nine Bobcats entered this season with four or more years of college basketball experience; they are one of the oldest teams in Division I.

An outpouring of 26 points by Max Klesmit only scratches the surface of the Badgers’ offensive success Thursday night. While Wisconsin showed flashes of the scoring punch it might bring this season, its defense is a work in progress.
